Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided a major update on Real Madrid forward Endrick, confirming that his loan move to Olympique Lyonnais in the January transfer window is nearing the "Here We Go" stage.
According to Romano, Real Madrid is in advanced negotiations with the French club, planning to send the Brazilian starlet to the Ligue 1 side in the new year.
The 19-year-old Endrick has seen limited action this season, clocking only 14 minutes under manager Xabi Alonso, which has attracted attention from several European clubs as the winter window approaches.
Sources indicate that a loan agreement for the remainder of the season is close to being finalized. Endrick joined the Spanish capital from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024 and scored seven goals for Real Madrid in his debut season.
The Brazilian international is reportedly keen to secure consistent first-team minutes to earn a recall to the national squad ahead of next summer's World Cup. Despite already having 14 caps, his peripheral role at Real Madrid has seen him fall out of manager Carlo Ancelotti’s immediate plans for the national team.
